Outerbike Returns to Bentonville
As soon as we left Bentonville last fall, I was already scheming about how to come back! Maybe there’s some conference I need to go to? Or maybe we should plan Thanksgiving there since the in laws are in Little Rock? Or maybe one of my friends is getting married and we should have the bachelor party in Bentonville?!? But the reality is that our first year of Outerbike Bentonville was so fun, that we were all still glowing weeks after we had come home. And did I mention that my home is in Moab, Utah one of the mountain bike meccas of the world! So yep, the hype is real and Northwest Arkansas really is that good!
To help explain Bentonville, let's agree that there’s are lots of different groups of mountain bikers out there. Some are definitely cross country riders sticking to fast and smooth terrain. Others cling to the enduro label, pushing boundaries and looking for the fastest gnarliest lines available. Some are beginners or never-evers while others are ex pros or seasoned vets. The one thing we all strive for is progression. The desire to improve at something makes doing that something more enjoyable when you show progress. Northwest Arkansas trails offer up that opportunity everywhere you look, and it makes the experience that much richer for everyone.
The trails in Bentonville are so well designed that you instinctively trust them. If it’s a beginner trail you can confidently bring your newbie friend on their first ride knowing they won’t be intimidated and will have a great time. And if your super star friend, who used to be a racer, is looking for some rowdy jump lines, Bentonville has trails that will deliver just that. In Northwest Arkansas, the opportunity to progress and challenge yourself, no matter what level you are, exists around every corner. So, we will be coming back to Bentonville this fall to progress our event. More bikes, more exhibitors, plus new trailheads popping up all over the place--we couldn’t be more excited to be part of it. Outerbike Bentonville happens the weekend of October 25-27, 2019. Three passes to choose from are available online here right up until October 21st, but don’t delay - last years event sold out!
