OneSolePurpose exists for the purpose of restoring hope and God-given dignity by providing basic necessities, like shoes, to those currently in need. Since 2010 OneSolePurpose has given away over 20,000 pairs of new shoes to students here in the Springfield area. Our 5k/10k run is one of our biggest fund raisers. Thanks to our generous sponsors, your registration fee is used 100% for the purchase of new shoes. You run and a local student will receive a new pair of shoes. That is a Win-Win right there.

Sign up for this six-mile run at Top of the Rock in Ridgedale, MO where you will challenge your endurance and mental grit while experiencing exhilarating, scenic views you won’t find anywhere else. Best for experienced runners, this course is hilly and challenging. Participants will experience waterfalls, a cave, scenic overlooks and absolutely beautiful surroundings.
This wonderful outdoor evening is Ozark Greenways' signature annual fundraising event. The night is full of socializing with new friends and old friends, enjoying wonderful cuisine and drinks, and supporting our favorite charitable cause - Springfield's growing greenway network. We will start our day with a 3 mile hike through easy-mild terrain and 500 ft in elevation change. The trail climbs up to a ridge with invigorating views of the surrounding landscape while being completely immersed in nature. The trail is a semi-loop with many breathtaking views, cool rock formations, and beautiful fall changing colors. As the terrain opens up, we will unroll our mats and take in all the benefits of a quick 30 mins yoga session. After the hike, we will head to Conscious Coco, an amazing chocolate shop in charming Fayetteville, Arkansas. We will spend some time there indulging in truffles, raw desserts, coffee bar, smoothies, infusions, and more! The only way this day could get any better is to top it off with some local wines at Sassafras Winery. Enjoy exceptional wines, locally made and from all around the world under the covered patio or on one of the many over-sized decks. Get back home after sharing an amazing fall day in the Ozarks with some Wild Women.

The Branson Mountain Man Off-Road Triathlon is of course open to everyone, not just burly mountain men! This off-road triathlon starts and finishes at Table Rock State Park on the south side of the dam on Lake Taneycomo in awesome Branson, Missouri. This is a rugged course that utilizes the White River Valley trail system. Athletes will complete one of two courses, the Sprint Course or the Burly Course. The Sprint Course is designed to be a great race for athletes of all abilities. The Burly Course is essentially double the Sprint Course. Stay in Branson for race weekend, either at one of the many hotels, or be one with your inner mountain man and camp with us at Table Rock State Park.
Hosted by Drury University and benefiting Care to Learn, the Panther Run features 5k, 10k, 15k, and 5k walk routes. Every racer is entered into the drawing for over $20,000 in prizes and awards! All participants receive a long-sleeve, quarter-zip tech shirt! Shirt sizes are guaranteed if you register by September 1st. Race packets available for pick-up from 12pm-6pm on Friday, October 4th at Drury University - O'Reilly Family Event Center's Panther Deck; please use the South Booster Club entrance off of Central. The routes for the Tour De Bass are scenic and every rider is sure to enjoy the Springfield area as it displays the majestic beauty of the Ozarks in the fall. Fun rest stops are provided along the routes. All 2019 routes, except the 100 mile ride, for our Tour De Bass will stay the same as they were in 2018. We will start and end at Mercy Orthopedic Hospital off of Evans Road. A wonderful finish line meal will be provided to registrants of the 100, 62, 48 and 28 mile rides.
Take your running off road! Intoducing the 30k in 2019, AdventureMax Springfield 30k, Half Marathon and 10k trail race is the perfect fall season off-road experience. The trail system and scenic views make Two Rivers Bike Park the absolute perfect place to host a trail race. Help lead the fight against breast cancer. This family-friendly, non-competitive 5k walk is a great way to show your support and honor loved ones who have faced a breast cancer journey. Nearly 250,000 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year. That could be your mother, sister, daughter, your wife, or even you. We hold Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks so anyone touched by breast cancer won't have to face their diagnosis alone. We do it to raise awareness and money to fund research, support services, and early detection. We hold Making Strides events to save lives.
Enjoy this very unique trip, with perfect fall weather to one of the most stunning places in Missouri followed by a winery in a cave - yes, inside the cave! We will start at Taum Sauk Mountain State Park, where we will go on a three mile loop that includes the highest point and tallest waterfall in the state. Along the trail, there are amazing views of the glades and the St. Francois Mountains, covered in fall colors! There will be a little bit of scrambling down to the bottom of the falls but the view makes it all worth it. The trail loops back through a section of the Ozark Trail that follows a beautiful creek. After the hike, we will head over to Cave Vineyard and Distillery for one of a kind experience. We will enjoy locally made wine, spirits, and homemade biscottis inside Saltpeter Cave, with an opening of 100 feet across and 35 feet tall. After this unique experience, we will head back with after an amazing fall day exploring the Ozarks.

Your exclusive opportunity to run, throw axes, and drink local beer! Participants can either Run/walk the 5K route, and then compete in some good 'ol axe throwin' at TommyHawks. Our featured and favorite local Brewery, Lost Signal Brewing, will be on hand with a special treat for our Tribe! Race begins at 11 am. Doors open at 10 am for axe-throwing warmups! TommyHawks Axe House is the first indoor axe-throwing venue in Southwest Missouri, and one of the largest in the country! The TommyHawks brand is a locally-owned Ozark brand, as well as Veteran-owned! We have 11 massive axe-throwing lanes plus tons of other cool "non-electronic" games such as shuffleboard, bumper pool, washers, cornhole, and our own BattleBall!

The late fall date has some of the nicest riding conditions and a great way to cap off the season.

Set within the Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, these trail runs offer a unique running experience. Dogwood Canyon is a natural paradise with over 10,000 acres, providing a fantastic variety of trails. This is truly a perfect trail race with rocks, hills, mud, streams and more, providing our runners with a physically challenging and satisfying experience. Parts of our Dogwood Canyon Trail Run courses are only open for our trail runs, making the participants of this world-class event among the special few who are granted access to these majestic and hidden areas of the canyon.
White River Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K | Boston Qualifier | One of the flattest, fastest courses in the U.S. Our course runs along the beautiful White River in Cotter, Arkansas. Marathon is an out and back twice. Half marathon is out and back. Aid stations every mile and a half! Awesome Pre-Race pasta dinner and renowned post-race meal! Turkey Trot is Springfield’s largest timed 5k run/walk of the year and the largest Thanksgiving Day 5k in Missouri, attracting more than 7,000 participants a year. Proceeds from the event benefit the Springfield-Greene County Park Board Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund and the Developmental Center of the Ozarks. Turkey Trot also serves as one of the largest one-day food drives of the year for Ozarks Food Harvest, with more than 6,500 meals donated at the event last year. Bring the whole family including the family dog and join in on the Thanksgiving morning fun! The 25th Annual Turkey Trot 5k Walk/Run is held rain, snow or shine on Thursday, Nov. 28, 8 a.m., at the Springfield Expo Center, 635 E. St. Louis St., in downtown Springfield.
